MY SUMMER FAVORITES

Summer fashion is one of my favorites as I get to dress comfortably, yet cute and easy. There were a few staples this past summer season that I would always lean towards and I know that it’s getting colder out, but it’s still always fun to reminisce about the warmer weather.
First up, sundresses were my favorite pieces this summer, by far…
#1: I loved wearing this white long dress from Urban Outfitters to a fancy dinner at the beach or in the city. I paired it with some fun gold jewelry (nothing too distracting from the dress) and a pair of light pink Vince Camuto heels.

#2: This bright orange maxi dress from Urban Outfitters was a staple, as it rocked the perfect amount of floral as well as the bright, summery colors that everyone was wearing this season. I paired it with minimalistic jewelry and an amazing pair of blue Jimmy Choo heels, that just-so-happened to match the blue flowers on the dress perfectly.

#3: Next, I got this white crochet sundress from a vintage store in San Francisco, called Wallflower, which happened to recently close (I’m way more sad than you are). Luckily I picked up this gorgeous dress that I styled with one of my favorite pair of chunky sneakers from Topshop, gold jewelry, and my favorite vintage bag from the brand Furla.

#4: Lastly, this trendy floral printed dress is one of my best thrift store finds. It’s from the brand Garage and is the perfect summer dress. I wore it with a pair of Urban Outfitters cream chunky boots and a thrifted oversized denim jacket from Wrangler. This is a super fun and trendy outfit that I will a hundred percent be wearing when the weather turns hot again:)

Another one of my favorite trends from the summer are chic, yet casual, blouses…
#1: One of my favorites was a long sleeve black blouse from Aritzia. It is cool, yet calm and collected and can be easily dressed up or down. I paired it with a pair of jean shorts, however it can be worn with any shorts, jeans, or skirts (or anything really).

#2: This white blouse from the J.W. Anderson collection by Uniqlo was one that I just recently hijacked from my aunt’s closet - she wasn’t wearing it anymore, don’t worry. It is perfect to wear with camo shorts, as you can see, jean shorts, or a pair of jeans. I can’t get over how chic it is and how it looks so high-end.

#3: One of my favorite pieces that I picked up this summer was this bright orange blouse from the Urban Outfitters sale section, and yes, I did hop on the neon trend. I wore this with a pair of jean shorts for an easy and cute outfit, adding a lot of statement jewelry and gold accents.

Lastly, sunglasses. My favorite accessory of the summer, by far… and that’s saying a lot. In my opinion, cool glasses are the best way to finish off any look. This summer, I had two pairs that I continued reaching for all season long. They are both from Urban Outfitters - the sale section of course. Honestly, I expected them to be flimsy and fall apart in a few weeks, however, I was pleasantly surprised when they held up all summer long. Both pairs remind me of glasses from designer brands such as Celine, Prada, and Versace; except probably around 2% of the price.

As much as I love styling outfits for the summer, fall is -and will always be- my favorite season, fashion wise. I know I haven't been active at all since the winter, but get ready for some OnTrend posts this fall.
