What i'm doing in quarantine

I know this one isn't quite fashion related, well I mean most of it is, but I thought it would be fun to write about some things that I'm doing during quarantine... because everyone I know and talk to are getting bored and are running out of things to do.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss school. And as much as I miss it, it's also nice to have some time to take a step back from everything and spend time with family and friends (virtually of course) and do some things that I haven't had time to do in the past - like actually writing some blog posts:))

During the first week of quarantine I decided to take on my closet... which is a set up for disaster. I switched out my winter clothes for my summer clothes, got rid of a bunch of things that I don't wear, and proceeded to color code the entirety of my drawers, all of the hanging clothes, and my jewelry. I'm selling a lot of my clothes on Poshmark and will be donating whatever doesn't sell. I think this is a great way to promote the recycling and up-cycling of clothing.

On that note, I have definitely been up-cycling a lot of clothing. It is so so fun and exciting to put my own spin and flare on some not-so-fun clothes. I've been cutting and distressing a lot of jean shorts, cropping some shirts, and bleaching some things for a cool retro effect.

Like everyone else, I've been binging Netflix like crazyyy. Here's some show suggestions if anyone wants: All American (so so so good... probably one of the best shows I've watched in a really long time), On My Block, Jack Ryan (this one's on Amazon Prime), and Love Is Blind. Hope y'all enjoy:)

Lastly, to my surprise, I've been reading a book... shocking. I know. I'm currently reading The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck. I'm only on the third or fourth part or something like that, but I HIGHLY recommend. So good.

So yeah, that's pretty much what I've been doing for the past month or so. Hope this gives everyone some motivation, or a good Netflix recommendation, or a good book to read. See you all for the next post, and hope you're all excited for some fun quarantine 'fits:)
